The company also engages in shutdown and maintenance projects, EPC of packaged units, general plant construction, and heavy engineering and process equipment manufacturing, as well as refractory and insulation, and industrial painting projects. In addition, it undertakes electrical and instrumentation contracts; offers professional services in the field of landscape construction, maintenance, and horticulture; and ready-mixed concrete and precast products. Further, the company provides scaffolding and formwork services; produces and supplies ice blocks and sweet water, and washed building sand; imports and wholesales frozen food products; and operates as a dealer for international brands offering sales, distribution, spare parts, and after-sales services. Additionally, it is involved in the provision of landscaping, asphalting, and plumbing services; hiring of heavy equipment; and supply of manpower to related contracting activities. The company also engages in sand mining, capital dredging, reclamation, seabed cleaning, beach repair, and marine construction and transportation activities; and mechanical fabrication and maintenance business. The company was founded in 1963 and is headquartered in Manama, the Kingdom of Bahrain.
